Entry 3: Social Studies Learning JourneyOld Ford Factory We went to the two places , the "remains" of World War 2 . Firstly , we went to Old Ford Factory ,
in 15 February 1942 . The surrender was signed at Old Ford Factory . We learnt more about what Japanese did to children and how they torture the people that had been caught . We also went into the garden and saw what they plant during World War 2 . We also walked near the road and see some stone that have some writing on it .
Bukit Chandu
We went to bukit chandu and we learnt that at the carpark , the fighting was located there . We also learnt about how long did the Japanese took to take over Singapore / Malaya . We lost because the Japanese was well prepared but we did not really prepare for the war , thats how Japanese took over Singapore in less than a month . After we surrender , we have to obey Japanese , like bowing and greeting the Japneses .
What I learnt
I learn that we should help defend singapore
